FAQs

What is ALEWK.CLUB?

ALEWK.CLUB is an online gift shop based in Hove, next to Brighton. It sells thoughtful gifts and everyday accessories from independent brands, including Harth hot chocolate, Two Chimps Coffee, Onneke notebooks, Do Books, Leiho socks and caps, and Waterhaul sunglasses. The name means "a lewk", slang for a personal style that gets noticed. Orders ship in reused packaging, and the shop funds 1 tree through Ecologi for every item sold.

What are good small gifts under £15?

The small gifts under £15 collection is the quickest place to start. It covers notebooks, reading journals, mini puzzles, candles, socks and hot chocolate, so there's something for a birthday, a thank you or a Secret Santa without stretching the budget. Do Books guides start at £9.99, and Leiho's white smiley socks in organic cotton are £10.50. Both fit through a letterbox and make an easy add-on to a card.

What gifts suit someone who loves the sea or the outdoors?

Waterhaul's polarised sunglasses, such as the Fitzroy and Kynance Slate frames, suit sea swimmers and coastal walkers, and Waterhaul's blunt-tip beach cleaner's knife is a practical pick for anyone who litter-picks on the beach. The Labo Mono Go-Go Jacket in Sky Terrazzo is made from recycled polyester. For warming up after a cold dip, Harth hot chocolate and Two Chimps Coffee pair well with a bigger gift.

How fast is delivery, and is it free?

Weekday orders placed before 1pm are dispatched the same day, and later orders go out the next working day. UK delivery is tracked and usually takes 3 to 5 working days, and it's free on orders over £50. Some partner brand items ship directly from the brand, so their timing can differ. You see the delivery cost and the estimate at checkout before you pay.
